About Listen Together

Music is Better Together

Listen Together started as a simple side project.

The original goal was to build something interesting, learn new technologies, and create a project that would stand out in a portfolio. I chose an idea that sounded fun: a place where people could listen to music together in real time while chatting.

Then something unexpected happened.

People started using it.

What began as a learning project slowly grew into a community of people creating rooms, inviting friends, discovering music together, and spending time listening from different parts of the world. Seeing real people enjoy the app completely changed its direction.

Today, Listen Together is no longer just a portfolio project. It's a product that continues to evolve based on the people who use it every day.

Built Around the Users

One principle guides every decision:

Build what people actually need.

Instead of adding features just because they sound exciting, I focus on listening to feedback from the community and improving the experience in ways that make listening together more enjoyable.

Whether it's making the interface simpler, improving synchronization, adding quality-of-life features, or fixing annoying bugs, user feedback has always been the biggest source of inspiration.

Our Mission

The goal of Listen Together is simple:

Create an easy, free way for anyone to enjoy music with friends online.

No complicated setup. No software to install. Just create a room, invite others, and start listening together.

Whether you're hanging out with friends, studying together, working remotely, or simply sharing your favorite songs, Listen Together aims to make those moments feel a little more connected.

Always Free to Enjoy

Core features are free because I believe shared experiences shouldn't have unnecessary barriers.

As the platform grows, the focus will remain on providing a great experience while keeping Listen Together accessible to everyone.

Help Shape Listen Together

The best ideas often come from the people who use the app.

If you've found a bug, have an idea for a new feature, or simply want to share feedback, I'd genuinely love to hear from you. Many improvements have come directly from user suggestions, and your feedback helps shape what Listen Together becomes next.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

I hope Listen Together helps you discover new music, create great memories, and enjoy listening together—wherever you are.
